Admissions & Educational Programs

Bishop Stang High School, operating under the authority of the Diocese of Fall River, admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally made available to students at the school. Bishop Stang High School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, age, or disability in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and financial aid programs, athletic programs, or other school-administered programs.

Religious Mission & Exemption

As a Catholic, college-preparatory school sponsored by the Diocese of Fall River, Bishop Stang High School reserves the right to make employment and other decisions on the basis of religion where doing so is necessary to fulfill its religious mission, consistent with applicable law. Conformance with the teachings and moral tenets of the Catholic faith is a condition of employment for all faculty and staff, who are expected to serve as models of the Catholic faith in both their professional conduct and personal example. This policy does not preclude Bishop Stang High School from giving preference in employment to qualified Catholic candidates for positions involving religious instruction or formation.

NEASC Accreditation

Bishop Stang High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), which requires member schools to maintain non-discriminatory policies in admissions and educational programs.
