College Gateway Program

College Gateway Dual Enrollment Program

• Graduation & GPA Credit: Credit earned through the College Gateway program will be recognized toward Bishop Stang’s graduation requirements and factored into your GPA after each semester using the same weight as Honors courses.
• Accreditation: Courses must be taken at an accredited college or university, available either in-person or online.
• Pre-Approval Required: Prior to enrollment, students must seek approval from both the Principal and their School Counselor to ensure credits are transferable to their Bishop Stang academic program.
• Course Selection Policy: Students may not take college classes that are already offered directly at Bishop Stang High School, unless a scheduling conflict creates a clear disadvantage. Any exceptions must be discussed with the Principal and Counselor.
