President's Welcome

Welcome to Bishop Stang.

Message from Bishop Stang President, Jim Benson

They say the days from the end of Spring break until the conclusion of the school year in mid June feel very much like a sprint. There are so many events happening that it can feel hard to keep up in the race. Well, truth be told, I am fondly enjoying my sprint and the beginning of June may be the best part now that we have arrived at graduation week as this remarkable group of 122 students becomes the 64th class in our school history to graduate

From Mr. Stang to the Senior march (on their last day of classes) to the prom and after prom it has been nothing short of a delight to observe the pride and joy our graduates and their families are experiencing. By next fall the members of the Bishop Stang Class of 2027 will spread out to sixty-six different locations across the country, which only expands the notion that Stang Spartans really are everywhere. What a better place the world will become as this group of students takes their talents and lessons they have learned to share with the world at large.

Next Thursday will be our closing school year Mass with grades 9-11 and then we will be welcoming the Class of 203 0 to our Welcome to Spartan Village picnic allowing for new enthusiasm, new energy and perspectives that will replace our departing seniors. These grades will have big shoes to fill but the educators at Stang are just as excited to accompany them to their finish lines as well.

Enjoy the memories to be made this summer! We have all earned the smiles and laughter that will come with the sunshine and warmth.

Peace,

Jim Benson
President
