Dear Bishop Stang Friends & Families:

What a remarkable season this is for our school.

Last weekend, nearly 300 members of our community gathered for our 2nd Annual Maroon and Gray Soirée. It was an evening that truly embodied what it means to celebrate the positive impacts Bishop Stang High School has had on this region for the past 67 years. Together, we honored the legacy of those who have shaped Bishop Stang into the vibrant institution it is today, while also making a meaningful investment in the generations of Spartans yet to come. The energy in the room was unmistakable: joyful, proud, and deeply committed to our shared mission. I am profoundly grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, honorees, and every guest whose generosity ensures that a Bishop Stang education remains accessible and transformative.

That same spirit of momentum continues next week as we prepare for the blessing and opening of our new tennis courts on Thursday, April 9th at 2:30. The blessing will be led by His Excellency, Bishop da Cunha. This project stands as a visible and lasting testament to the extraordinary generosity of the Hutchens Family Foundation. Their remarkable gift has provided our student-athletes with a first-class facility that reflects the excellence we strive for in every aspect of school life. We look forward to celebrating this milestone as a community with our students, families, Board of Trustees, and friends as we dedicate these courts and then plan to cheer on our girls and boys tennis teams in their doubleheader against Fairhaven. 

All of this unfolds as we approach one of the most important moments in our liturgical year. Easter invites us to reflect on renewal, hope, and the promise of new life. These themes are not only central to our faith but are also vividly present in the life of our school today witnessed in the generosity of our community, the growth of our students, and the continued strengthening of Bishop Stang for the future.

Thank you for all the ways you support and sustain this mission. It is an exciting time to be a Spartan.
