Patrick Clark is a senior from New Bedford, MA and attended St. James – St. John elementary school.  Patrick displays his leadership ability as the Vice President of the Class of 2019, captain of the Swimming and Diving team, captain of the Tennis team and member of National Honor Society.  He is also actively involved in Campus Ministry, Debate & Forensics, Peer Mentors, Student Ambassadors, and the Origami Club.  

Outside of school, Patrick serves as a research assistant at Southcoast Centers for Cancer Care and is a lifeguard at New Bedford YMCA.  He volunteers his time as a summer tutor at Our Sisters’ School and also volunteers at his parish, St. Julie Billiart. 

Patrick is a National Merit Scholar who currently ranks number one in the Class of 2019.  He is currently applying to an impressive list of schools: Harvard University, Brown University, Tufts University, Boston College, Providence College and the College of the Holy Cross.  He plans to pursue Biology as an undergraduate to prepare for medical school.  Patrick noted: “I consider myself blessed to have received such a high-caliber education through Bishop Stang’s exceptional academics and outstanding faculty. Stang has guided me to develop skills in scholarship, leadership and service that I will carry with me as I move on to college and pursue a career as a physician.”
