Justin Lopes is a senior from Wareham, MA and attended Wareham Middle School. Justin has been a hard working student in the classroom, excelled on the field of competition, and been a leader of character among his peers. In 2018, Justin was named the Girls & Boys Club of Wareham Martin Luther King Award winner for his exceptional character and commitment.
Justin has been an outstanding student-athlete and leader throughout his time at Bishop Stang. Justin lettered in varsity basketball as a four-year starter, won a State Championsip in 2016 as a freshman, was a 1000 point scorer, and helped lead the team to the state finals his senior year. Justin also earned Standard Times Super Team honors his senior year. Justin also starred on the football team as the starting quarterback his junior and senior year. Justin was named the 2018 Standard Times Football Player of the Year!
Justin is grateful for the opportunities he has experienced at Bishop Stang: "Being a Bishop Stang student has changed me as a person. I've learned to be a leader, be more outgoing and unafraid to get out of my comfort zone. The teachers at Stang are caring and are always here to help. My coaches have been mentors who have helped guide me in my future."
Justin has applied to Framinghman State, Springfield College, University of New England, University of Massachusetts-Boston and University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. He hopes to pursue a career in teaching and coaching.
