Sophomore Class is hosting a Tropical Smoothie Fundraiser TODAY!  Please stop by the North Dartmouth location between 4 and 8pm and be sure to mention the class at check out!  Hope to see you there!

Congrats to the Stang Esports Team on their victory over Abby Kelley Foster Charter School in Worcester.  Next week begins the Massachusetts esports playoffs which we will be streaming live on Twitch!

Baccalaureate Mass - we will have a meeting on Wednesday, Day 5 for any Seniors interested in helping with and planning the Mass.

Mass and Muffins -  will continue for the rest of the school year.  Please join us tomorrow morning for Mass and breakfast.

NHS Members are reminded that there will be a day 7 flex meeting today. We have a guest speaker today. Please check in then quickly proceed to the cafeteria for the members meeting.  Please bring your device find your assigned group quickly, so we can take an accurate attendance. Juniors please bring your printed service form with you to the meeting. Samantha Furtado’s group is cleaning the chapel today.

NHS is  sponsoring a Blood Drive on Tuesday, April 30th.  The event is open to all Bishop Stang students 16 years of age or older.  Students under 18 years of age need to obtain a parent permission form. These forms must be filled out, signed and turned in to Mrs. McDougal prior to the day of the blood drive.  Anyone interested in participating may sign up with the NHS officers in the cafeteria at both lunches Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.   Donating blood saves lives, please consider stepping up and being a hero, become a blood donor!

An announcement from Mr. Dias - Looking for a group of Sophomores to participate in the 2019 Youth Day of Caring Sponsored by the United Way.  We will be volunteering for the day at My Brothers Keeper, an outstanding partner of the Bishop Stang High School Community.  Student volunteers will be picked up right here at school, and go to downtown New Bedford and participate in a rally at the New Bedford Public Library with the other Day of Caring participants.  After the rally, students will be transported to the My Brothers Keeper facility in Dartouth, to volunteer for the remainder of the day.  It was an outstanding day last year, and this year will be no different.  If you are interested, please see Mr. Dias.

We are excited to announce that the Stang Script, our Bishop Stang Student Newspaper, now has its own website.  Check out for the latest Stang News!  This week, the site has an interview with Justin Lopes before today's big game, pictures of Saturday's win over Burke, a feature article on Teacher's Pets and more!  Visit and follow Stangscript on Instagram for updates.

You must have an ID to enter the Library during Study.  If you lost your ID, you need to order and pay for a new ID in Mrs. Williamson's office.

Water bottles and agendas are available.    They are $5 each.

Campus Ministry -   Morning Mass will be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:15.   Morning Prayer will be Monday and Wednesday at 7:10.  Please sign up.

Girls Tennis beat Bishop Connolly 5-0. Winners included Sailor Nordstrom,Sophie Lynch, and Gabriella Joaquim, in singles, and Caroline Downes, Fiona Lonergan, Kassie Stone and Maeve Egger in doubles.  

Boys Tennis beat Bishop Connolly 3-2. Winners were Pat Clark and Jeff Lucarelli, along with Keenan Cooney and Shawn Mills in doubles.
