During February vacation our office will be open from 8am to 1pm.   Enjoy your Winter Break!

Make sure you tune in to Channel 5 next Wednesday and Thursday, coach Mac will be on "Who wants to be a Millionaire?"  This airs at 12:30 pm on Thursday and Friday.

Anyone interested on completing the Book Sale FIAT, there will be a meeting during Flex on Wednesday in the library.  See Ms. Silva in room 104 for a pass.  The set up is April 5th and the sale date is April 6th.

We will be collecting gently used formal gowns to be donated through Dartmouth Tailor, for the "Belle of the Ball" Organization.  We will collect the dresses in our Main Lobby when we come back from February vacation.  No need to Dry Clean.  This is the perfect way to give an old dress a new Life!

Nomination letters for sophomores and juniors eligible for membership in the National Honor Society are being distributed this morning during homeroom.  Each nominee who is interested in pursuing selection must attend one of the two meetings on Thursday. During the meeting Mrs. McDougal will outline the process for selection to NHS. Nominees are asked to bring a device to the meeting. If you wish to pursue your nomination, you must attend the meeting.

If you are looking to participate in a fun, faith filled weekend of prayer, games and eyewitness talks.  The YES! Retreat is the place for you!  The retreat is next weekend.  Myles Forgue, Elizabeth Golden, and Liam Whelan are on a team, so contact them with any questions.  See Mrs. Tarantelli for forms and more info.  We're praying for you! 

Mrs. McKenna's Finance Class has first lunch for the entire 2nd semester.

All girls who want to apply to be leaders for the Beloved Retreat, see Ms. Deramo for an application.  The retreat is March 8-10.  The applications for leaders are due TODAY!

You must have an ID to enter the Library during Study.  If you lost your ID, you need to order and pay for a new ID in Mrs. Williamson's office.

Water bottles and agendas are available.    They are $5 each.

Campus Ministry -   Morning Mass will be Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:15.   Morning Prayer will be Monday and Wednesday at 7:10.  Please sign up.

 

Athletics

Thursday Results:

Girls Basketball beat Sandwich 51 to 43. Morgyn Riedl scored a game-high 17 points while Catherine Yeargin (14 points) and Abby Fernandes (11) were also in double figures in the Spartans’ regular season-ending victory. The Team is 12-8 at present.

Girls Hockey beat Nauset / Cape Cod Furies 3-1. Janey Silvia scored two goals and Sara Mullin scored one. Destiny Arruda had two assists, while Raquel Reis and Elizabeth LePage each had one.  Sierra Majewski made 15 saves for the victory in goal, as the Spartans finished the regular season at 13-5-2.

Announcements

Congratulations to the following Teams for having made the MIAA State Tournaments: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Ice Hockey, and Girls Ice Hockey. We will await next week’s games, and make them known after the tournament match-ups come out this weekend.
