Open Mic - is October 24, at 6:30pm in the Library.  All are Welcome!  Come perform or listen.  Our first Open Mic of the year is the launch of our library project "People, Places, and Things" and will feature world music.


Just a reminder for the shoe drive, please donate any gently used shoes and place it on the box located in the main lobby.


Student Council meeting during flex today in the cafeteria.


SADD - meeting today during Flex in room 309.  All members should attend.  Please see Mrs. Besse if you cannot attend.


Freshman Retreat team members - there will be a meeting tomorrow in the cafeteria during flex.  Please check into flex then come to the cafeteria.


Next week starts the middle school visits from our local Catholic and Charter schools.  Please stop by Admissions if you'd like to help.  All visits are from 8:45am - 10:30am and require teacher permission if you will miss any classtime.


The Science Department is still looking for students to join the Spartan Science Squad!  For those interested and those already signed up, there will be a mandatory meeting after school today in the Biology Lab.  Please see any member of the Science Department if you cannot make it.



The American Red Cross Blood Drive is almost here! Please sign up today during lunch. Students who are under 18need to bring in signed parent consent forms before Tuesday.

Be sure to read the recommendations regarding being ready to donate and remember to bring Ids and “proof of age.”




Attention sophomores:   The school counseling department is seeking sophomore students who would like to be considered for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Program.  One student will be selected to attend a three-day seminar to participate in hands-on leadership activities, meet leaders in your state, and explore personal leadership skills while learning how to lead others and make a positive impact in the community.  One additional sophomore will be chosen to attend the Mass STAR Program, which is a similar leadership opportunity.     Please see Mrs. Wood in the counseling office for an application.





Monday Games:

Congratulations to our Golf Team which finished the Division 3 Cape & Islands Sectional Champions yesterday. Leading the Team were Will Lafrance with a 78, Paul Zeller with a 79, Marcus Rapoza with an 82, Kyle Farias with an 85, Graham Brown with an 86, and Adam Carulli with an 89. Congratulations to the Team & good luck in the upcoming State Championships!

Boys Soccer lost to Apponequet 2-0. 

JV Football beat Cohasset 20-13. Carlo Acosta had 2 TD’s and Dylan Aguiar had 1 TD for our Spartans.  with a 1:15 pm dismissal

Field Hockey lost to Middleboro 1-0.

Girls Soccer beat Saint John Paul II 3-2.  

Volleyball lost to Apponequet 3-1. Regina Collura has 5 Kills & 3 Blocks. Michelle King had 4 kills & 3 Aces. Kiera Ackah had 14 assists & 7 Aces.  


Tuesday Games

Girls Soccer plays at Seekonk with a 1:55 pm Dismissal
