I think I really became an adult at Bishop staying in the funny thing is when I went to college I actually felt like I had free time because so hard in a good way and I went on to college and all my life I prepared and I became a well-rounded person founded in 1959 Bishop Stagg high school has served as a Beacon of Faith Integrity knowledge and service strategic Ally located at Dartmouth Massachusetts Bishop Stang serves a diverse Community nurturing students from across the region with a strong commitment to academic Excellence Bishop Stang empowers students to excel in a constantly evolving and dynamic learning environment school's holistic approach prepares them not only for college and careers ahead but also to be compassionate leaders within their Community here students are inspired to embrace their faith and values as they embark on their journey toward a brighter future here's what our students educators parents and alumni have to say my favorite thing about Bishops staying is that there's something for everyone doesn't matter what your interests are what your passions are there's always something for you to explore and to find out about yourself I think what really makes staying staying is the community and the people you meet and the close-knit nature of the class sizes and who you are around all the time so what I love about Bishop Stang is the community aspect in the classroom with the personalized learning experience we're creating relationships with the teachers you needed any help with anything you could see any teacher and they're always there to help you here staying I thought it was the smoothest transition because all the people they made me feel comfortable and with all of the teachers and the clubs and activities that I could be part of the social Community staying has impacted me as a parent by discovering that they really become a part of your children's upbringing in multiple capacities staying is helping them as a whole person and I can see that at home and I would love for other families to be able to see that as well the school has definitely lived up to a side of the bargain the children have grown in faith and in academics and in sports the 3 parts of their education have all come together I feel like it's staying you grow as a person in like every aspect of who you are really for me it was my faith I feel like I know who I am as a person now I feel super comfortable here and saved like my teachers they provide a really nice environment for me and it's a good place to go to every day I've defined a lot of new skills here like through the classroom I've learned more about problem solving and through Sports I've learned more about teamwork and this year I'm a captain on the cross country team so I've learned a lot about leadership definitely learned some very valuable skills here like time management and hard work and how hard work really does pay off in the end you know usually you hear words like Community or family thrown out a lot but 1 of the things I noticed was just how much the students show up for each other whether it's a game it could be an away game it could be a game at stake people show up for seeing their class plays Spartans show up for each other and that's that's really incredible and it's not something you see at a lot of schools or a lot of places and it's something that uh teachers and alumni families they see that and they notice that and I knew from that moment the day I walked in the first day at St freshman year that I deserved to be here I worked really hard and I'm going to make the most of it and that's like it's like the Jitters like I got the Jitters on my wedding day I got the Jitters on that first day put on my uniform and I still remember that cuz I knew for for me it meant so much more I think the biggest thing for families if you're on the fence is come and visit come to an open house have your children come and be a Spartan for a day in the school will speak for itself the children are happy to be here they're excited to be here your caters in the classroom they love being here and that's why our children receive such a great education there are so many opportunities that regardless of who you are you're going to thrive so well at Bishop staying and you're definitely going to succeed I found my perfect people and my perfect place and I know you will 2 they're always here for me and I think that even after Bishops saying I'm going to always have that family around me because Spartans are everywhere you just have to come here for yourself
