President/Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Bishop Stang High School’s website and the 2017-18 school year!

Our theme for the 2017-18 school year is: "Care for God's Creation." Inspired by Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si, our community will focus on how we can better care for the good gifts of the earth and develop a truly human ecology. Students will be engaged in a variety of projects and activities around this theme.

Our constant goal is to provide students with a dynamic, personalized education that rigorously prepares them for the academic demands of college and the moral challenges of life. Our Catholic mission is woven into every aspect of the student experience. Faculty and staff are dedicated to helping students encounter Jesus Christ in a caring, safe and family-oriented environment.

Bishop Stang students come from throughout the Southcoast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island to experience a rich tradition of academic and co-curricular excellence, growth in character and service. Stang graduates move on to the finest colleges and universities in New England and the country. Last year 100% of our seniors graduated, 99% of our graduates went on to higher education and the class of 2017 earned over $23 million in scholarships and grants.

Our Stang alumni are an amazing group of people who make a profound difference in the world. If you are an alumnus, please visit our Facebook page to re-connect with classmates and learn about their personal milestones.

Thank you for visiting and please feel free to contact us with your questions or feedback.
