Welcome to our website and the 2020-21 school year!
As our unprecedented school year begins, we root our efforts in God's goodness and grace. The 2020-21 school year theme is "Rejoice in Hope!" from Romans 12:12. Now more than ever, we need to be focused on all of the many reasons God gives us to have hope.
Much work has been done to prepare for the healthy and safe reopening of Bishop Stang High School. Cooperation, collaboration and communication will be critical to our success as a school community! For the foreseeable future, things will look and feel different at Spartan Village. Maintaining a positive attitude and caring for one another are foundational. Social-emotional wellbeing will be a priority for all of us. Creating positive social experiences will be vitally important when some of the usual ways to socialize for our young people are not possible. And we are especially mindful of welcoming our newest Spartans, the Class of 2024 and transfers, to their new school family.
Our constant goal at Bishop Stang is to inspire our young people to excel in learning and life through dynamic, personalized education that rigorously prepares them for the academic demands of college and the moral challenges of life. Our Catholic mission is woven into every aspect of the student experience. Faculty and staff are dedicated to helping students encounter Jesus Christ in a caring, safe and family-oriented environment. We are so blessed to have so many outstanding faculty and staff!
Bishop Stang students come from throughout the Southcoast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island to experience a rich tradition of academic and co-curricular excellence, growth in character and service. Stang graduates move on to the finest colleges and universities in New England and the country.
Our Stang alumni are an amazing group of people who make a profound difference in the world. If you are an alumnus, please visit our Facebook page to re-connect with classmates and learn about their personal milestones.
