A student from the McCabe and Sharp St. are in Dartmouth is looking for a ride home from school a couple of days a week.  If you can give her a ride, please see Mrs. Williamson.

Homeroom teachers please send your adoration sign ups to campus ministry at the end of Homeroom.

Any student who signed up to help at Mass, please pick up your pass in Campus Ministry.

Due to the liturgy on friday there will be NO flex period.

Congratulations to the Debate team for a successful first 2 rounds las night at ORR.  They came away with 11 wins and 9 losses.  Special congratulations for going undefeated to:      the Varsity Teams of, Santiago Hirschmann, Harrison Wardell and Kenny MacKenzie and Jeff Lucarelli.  Also, the novice team of, Kate Downey and Fiona Lonergan.

The Art and Photography Club - is sponsoring a monthly contest.   If you took a great picture during the month of November enter our contest by emailing you picture to Ms. Burakowski.   Win art supplies and bragging rights.  All submissions are due Dec. 

Campus Ministry - is sponsoring two upcoming events.  Christmas Caroling around the neighborhood on Wednesday Dec 20. from 5 to 7, with cookies and hot chocolate to follow.  Also, LaSalette trip on thursday, Dec 21, from 3:30 to 8:30.  The cost id $8 a person and a permission slip is required.   Please sign up for these events outside Campus Ministry.

This Monday Dec. 11, we are participating  in the diocesan 21 Day prayer chain.  In doing so we will have adoration in the chapel 10 minute slots.  Every homeroom has a sign up sheet as well as the chapel door.  Please sign up by Friday.

The reflection for all students who wrapped presents at Catholic Social Services will be next thursday, day 4 during flex.

Music Man - Auditions are coming up, please sign up to auditionin the band room with Mrs. Murphy-Leite.   Please see Ms. Paiva, Mrs. Tarantelli, or Mrs. Murphy-Leite if you have any Questions.

Student Council - Starting Monday, Dec. 11th - Thursday, Dec. 14th, student council will begin Our Christmas Fundraiser.  Thursday, Dec. 14, is Christmas sweater/ugly sweater dress down day for all students who contribute $2 during  homeroom next week.  All of the proceeds collected will be donated to "Pets for Vets", an organization that pairs up shelter dogs with veterans suffering from PTSD.    Also, during Flex period all week, students will write a short letter to a soldier that will be sent to Operation Gratidute to be included in a care package that the organization will send overseas to various soldiers.   Thank you in advance.

Advancement Office - This Friday Dec. 8th is the final turn in date to be eligible for the dress down week of the 18th of December.  To earn this week you must have turned in payment and stubs for 6 calendars.  Also, Friday is the deadline for the top sales in your class, the winner will win $100, and the top seller for the school will receive $250.  It's a close race as of now.   Please turn in your sales to the Advancement office.  Thank you for your efforts in this Fundraiser which directly benefits all the Stang students.  We have extended the deadline to the beginning of next week, we will announce a winner next week for the dress down.  Today is the final day to turn in calendars for the top student seller awards.

South Coast Jacket Drive called neighbors keeping neighbors warm - we will be accepting donations of gently used winter jackets throughout the month of November.   There will be a collection box set  up where donations can be placed.  The jackets will be distributed to families in need through the Cambodian American Rescue Organization.

Attention Sophomores:
The guidance department is seeking sophomore students who would like to be considered for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Program.  One student will be selected to attend a three day seminar to participate in hands-on leadership activities, meet leaders in your state, and explore personal leadership skills while learning how to lead others and make a positive impact in the community.  One additional sophomore will be chosen to attend the Mass STAR Program, which is a similar leadership opportunity.

The Fall Sports Banquet will be on Sunday, Dec. 10 at White's of Westport, at 5pm.  Tickets are $13 a person.   Please see Mr. Golden during flex time or at lunch.  

Congratulations to Rylie Careau for being named the 2017 Girls Soccer player of the year and helping our team to a fantastic season.  Rylie finished the season with 29 goals and 16 assists.

Congratulations to Gabby Caldera, Olivia Gowell, and Gemma Laroche for making the Honorable Mention list for Girls Cross Country All Stars in the Standard Times today.

Congratulations  also to Carly Sevigny and Catherine Yeargin for being named to the Standard Times Girls Soccer Super Team. Nora Markey and Abby Fernandes were named Standard Times All Stars.  Jillian D’Almeida and Olivia Fowler were named Honorable Mention All Stars.  Earning Standard Times Super Team honors in Golf was Colin Meggison. Caleb Ikkela and Zan Morrissey were named Standard Times All Stars in Golf.  Will LaFrance and Marcus Rapoza were named as Honorable Mention All Stars in Golf as well.    Congratulations to all!
